Atta & flour
Buy atta and Indian flour online
Atta is finely milled Indian whole wheat flour for chapati, roti and paratha. It absorbs more water than Dutch whole wheat flour, which gives softer flatbreads. We stock Aashirvaad atta in 5 and 10 kg bags, among others.
How much atta do you need?
One chapati takes about 30 g of flour, so 5 kg makes around 150 to 170 chapatis. Atta contains the oil-rich germ, so choose a size you will finish within a few months.
Looking for a gluten-free Indian flour?
Atta contains gluten. Gluten-free Indian grains include ragi (finger millet) and jowar (sorghum), plus besan made from chickpeas.
